What you'll learn
QUANTITY TAKE OFF is a practical construction estimation course designed to teach learners how to extract, calculate, organize and verify construction quantities from architectural, structural and engineering drawings.
The course covers the complete quantity takeoff process, including drawing interpretation, measurement, earthwork, concrete, reinforcement steel, brickwork, plastering, flooring, doors and windows, roofing, plumbing, electrical quantities and BOQ preparation.
Learners will also understand rate analysis and cost estimation, including material, labour, equipment, overhead and other cost components. Excel-based estimation techniques are included to help learners prepare organized measurement sheets, quantity calculations and professional BOQs.
The course also introduces digital quantity takeoff and BIM-based quantity extraction concepts, helping learners understand modern construction estimation workflows.
